헨델은 1727년 국왕인 조지 2세의 대관식에 쓰일 4개의 송가를 작곡했다.
그 중 가장 웅장한것은 Zadok the Priest (사제 사독)으로 화려하고 중요한
행사 음악으로서 대관식의 위풍당당함과 엄숙함이 묻어 나온다.
